An exceptional vase designed by Toni Zuccheri for VeArt in 1988. The intensely-colored body transitions from purplish-pink at the base, to clear at its center, and then a deep ultramarine blue at its apex. Demonstrating the skill and craft of VeArt’s Murano artisans the surface has been worked with a battuto, or hammered, technique, with bubble-like extrusions on either side. A highly unusual vase typical of Zuccheri’s experimental design approach that pushed the boundaries of modern glass work.
