An elegant vase designed by Sergio Asti for Salviati in 2003. The thin blown glass walls gently curve and swell upward, transitioning from clear to violet at the top. Three pinched and rounded corners recall the form of the tulip flower from which the vase gets it name. The ‘Tulipani’ vase continued Asti’s long history of working with the Murano glassworks that first began in 1962 with his Compasso d’Oro-winning design of the ‘Marco’ vase. Incised “Salviati by Sergio Asti 2003” signature on underside.
