A large and impressive centerpiece designed by Giancarlo Cacciatori and produced by Italian stone specialists Up & Up in the 1970s. The red ochre and white-veined Red Bilbao limestone bowl sits atop an inch-high support, giving the impression that the heavy stone piece is floating above the table surface. The incised sides create a series of ridges that flow into a concave interior where the limestone has been polished to a smooth finish. An exceptional example of craftsmanship that highlights the unique qualities of the stone.
