Beautiful and rare set of “Angolari” or “Angular Vases” designed by Roberto Sambonet for Baccarat in 1978. The large, sculptural vases each have the same 15 x 15cm footprint, while two different heights (18/30cm) allow for a great variety of placement configurations and visual compositions. The sheer, angular exteriors contrast with the organically shaped interiors of the vases, magnifying and emphasizing light and their surroundings. Exceptionally crafted from the highest quality Baccarat crystal and finished with beveled edges on all sides. Originally designed by Sambonet as part of a suite of four vases as pictured in the original announcement brochure.
